You will play a key role in shaping our market presence while working closely with colleagues across our international network. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the continued growth and development of Munich Re Specialty's Property Engineering business in Italy. /li liExecute underwriting strategies aligned with regional and global business objectives. /li liIdentify, develop and secure profitable business opportunities while strengthening Munich Re's presence in the Italian market. /li liUnderwrite Property Engineering risks and actively manage portfolio performance to ensure profitability, underwriting discipline and data quality. /li liBuild and maintain strong relationships with brokers,
clients and distribution partners to drive sustainable growth. /li liMonitor market trends, emerging risks and competitor activity to support underwriting decisions and business strategy. /li liCollaborate with underwriting and cross-functional teams across claims, legal, compliance and finance, contributing to knowledge sharing and strategic initiatives. /li /ul h3Knowledge And Skills /h3 ul liMinimum 8 years of experience in Property Engineering underwriting. /li liStrong knowledge of the Italian insurance market, including brokers, MGAs and other distribution partners. /li liProven track record of originating, underwriting and growing profitable Property Engineering business. /li liEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop tailored solutions for complex client needs and identify new market opportunities. /li liExcellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build long‑term business relationships. /li liFluency in Italian and English, with experience working in international and cross‑cultural environments and a willingness to travel when required. /li liUniversity degree and/or relevant professional qualification, combined with strong leadership and collaboration capabilities. /li /ul pIf you are excited about this role but your experience does not align perfectly with everything outlined, or you don’t meet every requirement,
