Overview As Lead Engineer in the Travel Things area, you guide a cross-functional team to shape AI-powered, personalized travel experiences that boost conversion and revenue. You work with product, data science, and UX to deploy real-time, personalized offers across a broad product portfolio. You will drive ML adoption, maintain high engineering standards, and mentor engineers while aligning with broader tech strategy. Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and UX designers to implement high-impact features. Drive the integration of machine learning models and personalization frameworks into customer-facing features. Ensure engineering quality through design and code reviews and robust testing standards.
Monitor and improve team performance to maintain high-performance standards. Mentor engineers in technical and leadership paths. Coordinate with other engineering teams to maintain a cohesive technical strategy and delivery cadence. Requisiti fondamentali Proven experience as a Lead Engineer with tech leadership in B2C or product-led settings. Hands-on or strong interest in applying ML/AI to product problems; experience with production ML is a plus. Understanding of personalization strategies and their impact on conversion and monetization. Ability to break down complex systems and drive business outcomes. Experience building distributed systems and REST APIs. Product-minded with a focus on real user problems and measurable outcomes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management with cross-functional collaboration experience.
