An opportunity to work on the design and development of mechanical systems for space applications, within a fast-paced and highly technical engineering environment.Se desidera conoscere i requisiti per questo ruolo, continui a leggere per trovare tutte le informazioni pertinenti.You'll take designs from initial concept through to manufacture, integration and qualification, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop robust solutions for demanding applications.What you'll be involved in:Designing and developing mechanical components and assembliesCreating detailed CAD models, engineering drawings and technical documentationSupporting mechanical, structural and thermal analysis to validate designsWorking across engineering disciplines to develop and optimise design solutionsContributing to design reviews, testing, integration and qualificationWorking closely with manufacturing partners to ensure designs are practical,



manufacturable and meet quality requirementsSolving design challenges and driving improvements throughout the product development lifecycleSupporting the delivery of engineering projects against technical requirements and timescalesWe're looking for:Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within the space industryExperience designing mechanical components and assemblies for space or other high-reliability applicationsStrong knowledge of mechanical design, materials, manufacturing xysqume processes and Design for ManufactureExperience with CAD and engineering analysis tools such as Creo, NX, SolidWorks, ANSYS or equivalentExperience producing detailed engineering drawings, with a good understanding of GD&T; and precision tolerancingIf you enjoy taking designs from concept through to real hardware and want to work on technically demanding products for the space sector, this could be a great opportunity.
