Packaging Project Manager – Rome – Initial 6-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Our client is a world‑leading pharmaceutical powerhouse, operating across more than 60 countries and driving innovation at every stage of the drug development lifecycle. This progressive, future‑focused organisation is now searching for an experienced Packaging Project Manager to support the delivery of a high‑impact project based near Rome.

What you’ll deliver:

- Lead packaging projects from concept through implementation across bottle and blister operations.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and key deliverables.
- Coordinate Engineering, Quality, Validation, and Operations teams to ensure successful execution.
- Oversee vendors and contractors during equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification.




- Drive packaging improvement initiatives, including data integrity and production line upgrades.

Experience required:

- Proven experience delivering packaging line installations, upgrades, and equipment enhancement projects.
- Strong knowledge of bottle and blister packaging operations within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting qualification, validation, and GMP‑compliant project delivery.
- Able to manage suppliers, contractors, budgets, schedules, and project risks effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive projects independently in complex environments.
