BIM Coordinator – Head Office

For our Tortona head office, we are looking for a BIM Coordinator who will join the technical office and support the preparation and submission of bids.

Specifically, the BIM Coordinator will:

- Analyse tender documents, with a particular focus on design;
- Manage project models and surveys using BIM technology;
- Extract data, schedules, tables and drawings from BIM models for the purpose of checking Bills of Quantities;
- Identify design solutions that optimise construction time and costs, in line with the methodological solutions provided for by BIM;
- Coordinate the process of creating, managing and checking the digital models produced (using clash detection software);
- Support the Project Manager in setting up the Common Data Environment (CDE) during the start-up phase of a project;
- Periodically check the documentation produced to validate its compliance with contractual requirements, proposing where necessary the instructions needed to amend or supplement the deliverables;
- Support, in accordance with the requirements of the tender documents and the bid schedule, the activities of the selected consultants/designers;
- Support the implementation and review of BIM management procedures at corporate level in order to obtain and maintain certifications

Requirements





- 4–5 years’ experience as a BIM Coordinator / BIM Specialist in the infrastructure and/or building sector
- Degree in Engineering/Architecture
- Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Solibri and AutoCAD
- Experience with Dalux, BIM360, Synchro and Primavera P6 is preferred
- Knowledge of BIM and an interest in working with construction technology

Ideal candidate also has

- Willingness to be mobile.

Employment terms

- Italian National Collective Agreement for the Construction Industry (CCNL Edilizia)
- Type of contract: Permanent
- Remuneration: The initial salary for this position will be no less than €50,000, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the applicable collective agreement.

Any variable components or benefits will be outlined at a later stage and governed by the applicable company policies.
