Bar Baratta 16, featuring a mixology concept inspired by the "zero-kilometer" philosophy, celebrates Ligurian tradition and flavors. For the next season 2027, we are looking for a Bartender to join the team at our Bar Baratta 16 The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/she should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills. The primary objective is to provide a friendly, attentive, and timely service and to create an exceptional experience for all our guests. He/She reports to Bar Manager. Fulfill the Bar operations assisting with service, setup, mise en place and cleaning, according to the Belmond policies, high standards and procedures; Welcome customers entering the bar area and maintain a friendly atmosphere, establish and maintain good relationships with all guests and handle requests and enquiries; Plan, organize, and control the operations of a bar; To monitor stock levels, paying particular attention to use-by-dates on perishable goods, and order replacement deliveries as required; Supervise the work of bar staff and other bartenders; Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies; Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to Bar Manager and/or Restaurant Manager; Notify Bar Manager or Manager-on-Duty any time a guest is not completely satisfied with their experience.
Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences Interact with customers in a professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, bar tools, and equipment. Monitor and manage inventory of spirits, beer, wine, and other bar supplies. Adhere to all food and beverage safety and sanitation regulations. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless customer experience Be knowledgeable about current drink trends and classic cocktails.
