pbLocation: /b Valencia, Spain, Hybrid OR Remote across EMEA /p pbEmployment: /b Full-Time Contract /p pbDuration: /b 6 months, with potential extension /p pbLanguage: /b Fluent English required /p pbIndustry: /b Cybersecurity / Cloud / Enterprise Security /p h3About The Opportunity /h3 pPragmatike is recruiting on behalf of a major international organization for a bSecurity Operations Analyst /b to join a global Cybersecurity Operations team. /p pYou’ll be part of a b24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) /b responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber threats across enterprise, cloud, network, and endpoint environments. /p pThis is a hands‑on security role focused on balert triage, threat investigation, log analysis, incident response, and security monitoring /b, working alongside cybersecurity specialists distributed across multiple regions. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liMonitor, triage, and investigate security alerts across SIEM, EDR, Microsoft security tools, and cloud platforms. /li liAnalyze host and network logs from Windows, Linux, databases, applications, web servers, firewalls, and NIDS/HIDS. /li liInvestigate suspicious activity, identify root causes, and determine appropriate remediation or escalation. /li liSupport incident response, remediation, and recovery activities. /li liWork closely with Incident Response and other cybersecurity teams to manage security threats. /li liAnalyze network and security events using TCP/IP, syslog, firewall, and network monitoring data.



/li liIdentify opportunities to improve detection quality and reduce false positives through tuning and optimization. /li liGather technical information from clients to improve security monitoring and detection. /li liPrepare and present security reports, summaries, and technical findings. /li liContribute to SOC procedures, documentation, knowledge bases, and quality‑control processes. /li liReview operational feedback and implement corrective actions to continuously improve service quality. /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 ul li5+ years of relevant experience in IT/cybersecurity, including security alert triage and incident support. /li liHands‑on experience working in a SOC environment. /li liStrong experience with SIEM and EDR platforms. /li liAdvanced log analysis skills across Windows/Linux, databases, applications, and infrastructure. /li liStrong knowledge of Microsoft Security technologies, including Microsoft Sentinel and Defender. /li liExperience with cloud security across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP. /li liExperience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, Microsoft Sentinel, or ELK. /li liExperience with at least one EDR solution such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint or CrowdStrike. /li liKnowledge of email security, network monitoring,
