- Activelymanagesallaspectsofthesectionanddelegatetaskstothejuniorkitchenstaffaccordinglytoensureasmoothoperationofthatkitchensectiontotheexpectedqualitystandards
- Managesserviceduringbusyperiodsandintheabsenceofseniorchefs,managesthekitchenensuringallstandardsandqualityproceduresareadheredtothestandards
- AssistsSeniorChefsinthedevelopmentofnewmenuideastoensureallmenusareseasonalandcreativeusingthefinestingredients
- Ensurecompliancetoallrelevant Health,SafetyandEnvironmentmanagementproceduresandcontrolswithinadefinedareaofactivitysothatCompanyprovidesworldclassandluxurioushospitalityservicestoitsguests
- Supervisesandcheckeverydishsentfromthesectiontoensurehighestqualitystandardsaremaintained.
- AsChefdepartieandsectioninchargeresponsibleforrefrigerationcleaning,stockrotation,datecodingandsectiondeepcleaning
- Intheabsenceofaseniorchefensurethedailykitchenrecordsandlabellingstandardsarebeingmaintainedatalltimes.
Theidealcandidateforthispositionwillhavethefollowingexperienceandqualifications:
- Previousexperienceinasimilarrole
- Expertculinaryknowledgeofbothclassicalandinternationalculinarytrends
- ProficientinItalianandfluentinEnglish,athirdlanguagewouldbeanaddedadvantage
