Overview

In this hands-on role you design and optimize AI/ML infrastructure to power real-world applications. You work alongside senior architects to lead workstreams, write and review code and IaC, and deploy models and data pipelines. You optimize compute resources across cloud and on-prem, balancing performance, cost, and scalability. You will mentor engineers, shape architectural standards, and drive end-to-end production readiness for AI systems.

Responsabilità

- Write, review, and debug code, scripts, and infrastructure-as-code for AI infrastructure and tooling, setting team standards
- Architect and provision compute resources across cloud and on-prem environments, including GPU clusters
- Design and maintain deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines for AI systems, models, and applications
- Deploy AI systems, models, and data pipelines into production and improve related processes
- Lead container orchestration and model serving using Docker, Kubernetes, and related frameworks
- Optimize the computational stack for performance, power, cost, and scalability
- Evaluate and select tools/frameworks to shape the infrastructure roadmap




- Integrate AI models with enterprise systems ensuring interoperability, security, and compliance
- Own AI monitoring and infrastructure health across InfraOps and MLOps, drive remediation
- Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, networking, software, and models; perform root-cause analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and lead code reviews; define architecture standards and best practices

Requisiti fondamentali

- Practical experience in coding, building, monitoring, and troubleshooting AI/ML applications and their infrastructure
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts
- Solid computing infrastructure knowledge, with preferred AI infrastructure familiarity
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with data pipelines and workflow tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Kubeflow)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven experience in AI/ML infrastructure engineering or related roles on a hyperscaler platform for deploying large-scale solutions
