Overview
In this role you will serve as a functional lead for PTC Windchill, driving PLM process design, implementation, and optimization. You will partner with Engineering, R&D;, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders to shape future-state PLM workflows and ensure seamless integrations with ERP, CAD, and MES. You’ll own end-to-end Windchill initiatives—from requirements through rollout and data migration—while guiding project governance and user readiness. This is a hands-on, client-facing position in a global delivery context that empowers organizations to accelerate product development and engineering change. Responsabilità
- Lead business requirement gathering workshops with cross-functional stakeholders
- Analyze current-state and design future-state PLM processes aligned with best practices
- Act as Functional SME for Windchill modules (PDMLink, Change Management, Document Management, BOM Management, Workflow, Lifecycle Management)
- Prepare functional specs, BRDs, and solution design documents
- Drive end-to-end Windchill implementation, upgrade, rollout, and enhancements
- Collaborate with technical teams on configurations, integrations, and system requirements
- Support data migration activities including mapping, cleansing, validation, and sign-off
- Define SIT, UAT, training, deployment, and go-live readiness activities
- Coordinate with ERP, CAD, ALM, MES and other enterprise system teams for integration needs
- Provide leadership in issue resolution, risk management, stakeholder communication, and governance
- Mentor junior consultants and provide functional guidance
- Ensure compliance with product development, document control, and configuration management processes
Requisiti fondamentali
- 14-16 years in PLM with 8+ years hands-on Windchill PLM implementations and support
- Experience leading workshops and collaborating with multiple functions
- Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills in global delivery environments
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, or high-tech industries preferred
