Sounds interesting? /p ul liYou build and maintain backend services, APIs, data persistence, and frontend interfaces — design decisions are made collectively /li liYou work in small increments, integrate frequently, and keep the codebase in a releasable state at all times /li liYou design APIs with the consumer in mind: intuitive, versioned, consistent, and built to evolve. /li liYou co-own data modelling decisions with your team: schema design, query patterns, and migration strategy /li liYou write automated tests as a first-class deliverable — unit, integration, and API-level — and instrument your software for observability from day one. /li liYou improve existing code as you go — refactoring is part of delivery, not a separate activity /li liYou deploy and operate software as a team — everyone understands how the system runs in production, not just the person who last touched it /li liYou document design decisions, API contracts, and domain knowledge clearly in writing, and communicate proactively about blockers, tradeoffs, and progress /li liYou pair with teammates regularly and share effective patterns and tools — including AI workflows — with the team /li liCode review is a team practice, not a gate. You give feedback that improves the code and the engineer,
and you receive it with the same openness /li /ul h3What You Need To Bring /h3 ul liYou have 5+ years of professional software engineering with production delivery experience and a demonstrated ability to shape systems, not just implement features /li liYou bring genuine full-stack capability — backend, APIs, data layer, and frontend — with the ability to deliver a complete feature without handoff /li liYou have strong API development experience: design, implementation, versioning, and consumer-first thinking /li liYou are proficient with databases across both relational and document paradigms /li liYou practice automated testing discipline — tests are part of delivery, not an afterthought /li liYou have cloud deployment awareness: you understand how software gets from code to production /li liYou actively use AI-assisted development tooling (Copilot, Cursor, Kiro, or equivalent) /li liYou communicate clearly and effectively in writing, in English — you default to async and use synchronous time intentionally. /li /ul h3Good To Have /h3 ul liYou have infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, Pulumi, CDK, or equivalent) /li liYou practice hands-on observability — you instrument what you ship /li liYou have software design awareness including SOLID principles and knowing when not to apply them /li liYou have experience with NoSQL or document stores (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or similar) /li liYou apply security awareness in design and implementation: input validation, authentication patterns, dependency hygiene /li liYou have experience in a remote-first or distributed engineering team /li liYou are familiar with event-driven architecture or microservices patterns /li /ul h3Why us? /h3 ul liA role in a global logistics technology company working on software that routes and plans millions of vehicle movements across Europe and beyond /li liA Remote-First engineering culture with meaningful async collaboration — a team that values doing the right thing over velocity metrics /li liA real transformation to contribute to: cloud-native platform with meaningful engineering decisions still ahead /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
