Politecnico di Milano seeks a researcher to define a methodology and instrumentation architecture for characterizing the mechanical properties of planetary surfaces in a space environment, with applications to in-situ surface exploration for Solar System bodies, including lunar and asteroid missions.

The role combines numerical modeling, laboratory experiments, prototyping and data analysis, and requires strong scientific writing and fluent English.
