Overview
As a Junior Supply Chain Manager, you will coordinate core logistics activities to ensure product availability and cost control. You'll support demand and supply planning, inventory management, and transportation while guiding the local Supply Chain team. The role offers development toward broader SCM responsibilities, including procurement and international collaboration. You will work with internal teams and partners to enhance efficiency and service continuity, within ZEISS's innovative, global context.

Responsabilità
- Develop and update demand and supply plans based on forecasts, stock levels, lead times, and business needs
- Manage inventory policies, safety stock, and replenishment parameters to ensure accuracy and availability
- Plan and monitor inbound and outbound transportation,
including carrier performance and costs
- Track supply chain KPIs and support continuous improvement and digitalisation projects
- Lead and develop the local Supply Chain team and collaborate with internal departments, ZEISS Group functions, suppliers and logistics partners
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field
- Minimum five years' experience in project management and team coordination
- Knowledge of demand and supply planning, inventory management, warehouse and logistics processes, inbound/outbound transportation
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP and MRP systems; ability to analyse complex operational data
- Fluent Italian and English (min B2)
