Key Responsibilities
- Managing the accounts payable process, from document verification to supplier invoice posting.
- Managing supplier payment schedules,
preparing payments, and reconciling accounting entries.
- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including accruals, deferrals, invoices to be received, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collaborating with auditors, tax advisors, and internal business functions.
- Supporting the coordination and alignment of administrative processes across the Group’s international entities (France and Spain).
- Participating in continuous improvement and digitalization projects related to administrative and accounting processes.
What You Need To Succeed In This Role
- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a Accounting High School Diploma with equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2–4 years of experience in accounting and administration roles, with a focus on accounts payable.
- Good knowledge of Italian VAT regulations, electronic invoicing, and key tax compliance requirements.
- Good knowledge of English (B2/C1 level).
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and management of large data sets).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while managing the fiscal calendar.
- Strong attention to detail and a control-oriented mindset, combined with the ability to investigate and identify the root causes of discrepancies.
- A process improvement mindset, rather than a purely execution-focused approach.
