Saipem Offshore Construction (SOC)
is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saipem S.p.A. SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects.
Purpose of the position
As Offshore Structural Designer you will be part of the Asset Based Services and will be part of the Milan Offshore 3D Modelling team.
How can you support us?
- Modelling with Tekla (or equivalent 3D CAD tool).
- Design drawings for primary, secondary and tertiary structures.
- Bill of materials or materials take off.
- Extraction of bill of materials and other weight information from the 3D CAD model.
What are we looking for?
Education: Diploma/bachelor’s degree.
Background: Preferably 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering.
Languages: English minimum required level B1.
Technical/IT Knowledge: 3D CAD modelling, 2D CAD drafting. Tekla Structures, Autodesk Autocad.
