Overview

In this role you will help accelerate growth by applying rigorous market and financial analysis to strategic opportunities. You will bridge strategy and action, translating global plans into local initiatives and guiding M&A; activity. You work with stakeholders to build robust business cases, assess targets, and shape investments that drive performance. The role offers impact across ABB Motion by turning insights into growth and value creation.

Responsabilità

- Analyze markets, build financial models, and conduct competitive assessments to inform growth decisions
- Develop and evaluate business cases, assess potential targets, and translate strategy into actionable growth initiatives
- Coordinate local actions with global strategies, aligning internal and external resources across business planning and financial analysis
- Identify M&A; and investment targets, perform target assessments, and shortlist actionable deals for execution
- Prepare valuations and due diligence (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions) for smaller transactions and support deal processes




- Create high-impact strategy and M&A; documents/presentations for division management
- Identify process improvements in M&A; approaches and optimize related tools and methods
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective strategy execution

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor's or higher in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in M&A;, strategy development, investment banking, or financial due diligence consultancy
- Strong analytical abilities and solid understanding of financial statements
- Knowledge of valuation theory and financial due diligence/M&A; processes
- Good understanding of markets, customers, technology, and competition
- Clear communication skills for internal/external discussions and executive presentations (PowerPoint, Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written English; strong work ethic, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities
