The Opportunity
In this role you will:
- Manage large scale construction projects for clients, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, with high quality
- Monitor the day-to-day activities in the field, managing the flow of information, and reporting and tracking issues arising from progress,qualityand safety
- Assistin completing the handover plan, ensuring documentation is completed and expectations are met on time and with quality
- Be a visible leader onsite, assessing progress and ensuring safe work practices
- Coordinate with the client team, consultant team and the contractor on all snagging activities, including the schedule and partner engagement
- Identifyissues proactively and work with the team to resolve effectively
- Implement andmonitorkey project processes, partnering with the client to make improvements and revisions
- Implement project procedures and use reasonable endeavours to ensure that thisprocedure isalways observed
- Lead and attend key meetings tomonitorprogress,
actively collaborate on solving problems and communicate impacts to partners
- Review proposed variations and delays in the works.
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Speak Finnish
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience managing large, complex construction projects (MEP-heavy)
- Ideally in the Nordics, with full work rights in Finland
- Strong understanding of CSA, MEP systems, local codes, and statutory requirements, including breaker coordination, switchgear operations, and cooling systems
- Skilled in contractor/vendor management (RFPs, bidding, change orders), design management, and general project administration
- Certified in project management (e.g. PMP) or actively working toward certification — support provided
- Proven experience on international projects with awareness of cultural and DE&I; considerations
- Familiar with local construction laws, building codes, and AHJ processes
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and computer skills
- Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and thrives in a collaborative, open, and purpose-driven team environment
