Sales Representative – Logistics & Freight Forwarding | Genoa
We are currently supporting an international logistics and freight forwarding company in the search for a Sales Representative based in Genoa.
This is an opportunity for a commercially minded professional looking to develop their career in freight forwarding, logistics sales, and international trade.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop new business and identify potential customers
- Manage customer meetings, sales calls and commercial presentations
- Prepare and follow up on freight quotations with Operations and Procurement
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Manage the sales pipeline and CRM activities
- Support customer onboarding and coordinate the handover to Operations
- Monitor market developments, customer requirements and freight rates
- Represent the company at relevant industry events and trade fairs
The profile:
- 1–4 years of experience in sales, customer service or operations within logistics/freight forwarding
- Exposure to sea, air, road or multimodal transport is an advantage
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Fluent Italian and English
- Organized, proactive and motivated to develop in a sales environment
