Octave is seeking a Sales Support Representative to join our team based in Milan, Italy . This position reports to our Managing Director in Italy.

As a Sales Support Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting our Italian sales organisation, acting as a trusted partner to the Account Management team and helping ensure sales opportunities progress efficiently from initial engagement through to quotation and order processing. You will work closely with Account Managers, customers, and internal stakeholders to provide commercial, operational, and administrative support across the sales cycle.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment and who combines strong organisational skills with a customer-focused and proactive approach. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, helping to maintain excellent customer relationships while ensuring sales processes run smoothly.
This role is based in Milan with occasional travel as required. #LI-MP
Responsibilities
You will...
- Support Account Managers throughout the sales cycle, helping to progress opportunities from qualification through to quotation and order completion.
- Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, renewals, and commercial documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain CRM data integrity, ensuring customer, opportunity, and sales information is accurate and up to date.
- Serve as a point of contact for customers when Account Managers are unavailable,
responding to enquiries and coordinating follow-up activities.
- Build positive working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with contract administration, sales documentation, and procurement-related activities.
- Coordinate with Finance, Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, and other internal teams to support customer requirements.
