Overview

In this role you guide Italian pension funds through governance, regulatory compliance and day-to-day operations. You will support senior consultants by delivering administration and advisory services across governance, controls and risk management. The position focuses on Italian supplementary pensions, working with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliant processes. You will engage with supervisors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive robust operational practices. This is an experienced-hire role at a global consulting firm offering insight-led pension expertise.

Responsabilità

- Prepare and maintain governance documentation for pension funds (notices, minutes, registers, filings).
- Support pension fund processes, governance decisions, and supplier/partner documentation.
- Manage or assist with membership and benefit processes (enrolments, contributions, transfers, agevolazioni requests, complaints).
- Prepare recurring regulatory reporting and liaise with supervisory authorities.




- Perform second-level controls on operations and monitor risk-management indicators and remediation actions.
- Coordinate third-party providers and maintain institutional and member-facing documentation.
- Analyze tax and regulatory matters affecting Italian supplementary pensions and translate into operating actions.

Requisiti fondamentali

- Hands-on experience in the Italian supplementary pension sector within a pension fund, administrator, advisory firm or related organisation.
- Practical experience with pension fund operational processes (enrolments, benefit requests, complaints).
- Knowledge of Italian supplementary pension framework: Legislative Decree 252/2005 and COVIP regulations.
- Ability to prepare or review governance and operational documentation with high accuracy.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Good written and spoken English for an international environment.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, sound judgement and deadline management.
