Location:
(on-site, 5 days/week) Join our client's elite technical team in Rome, supporting key activities for European space programs. The company is a long-standing partner of space agencies and institutions, with deep expertise in IT systems, operations, and engineering support for ground segment infrastructures. We are looking for a hands-on System Administrator with a solid Linux background, familiarity with databases, and a B2 level of English. If you're curious about space, eager to work in a structured and international context, and ready to support a technically robust environment
- this role is for you. YOUR TASKS
* Provide operational and system-level support for test and validation environments
* Support the writing and review of technical documentation
* Participate in system verification and validation activities
* Interface with technical teams during testing and deployment phases
* Assist with monitoring, log analysis, and problem troubleshooting
* Collaborate with engineers to ensure system integrity during operational phases YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Good knowledge of Linux environments
* Familiarity with at least one relational database (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
* English proficiency (minimum B2) – written and spoken
* Ability to work on-site 5 days per week in Rome
* Proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate in a team
* Nice to have: Previous experience in technical documentation or test validation
* Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware)
* Knowledge of basic scripting or automation
* Background in aerospace/space/defense sectors EXTRA INFORMATION Work
