Overview
In this role you will design, develop, and deploy advanced data science and AI solutions to support Clinical Development across the drug development lifecycle. You will work with clinical trial and real-world data to uncover actionable insights that enhance decision-making, efficiency, and patient-centricity. Collaborating with Global Clinical Development and Digital teams, you translate complex problems into robust analytics that drive evidence generation and improvements to study design and execution. Responsabilità
- Design, develop, validate, and deploy analytics, ML/AI, and Generative AI solutions for Clinical Development and Operations
- Apply statistical modelling and predictive analytics to diverse healthcare data sources
- Translate data into actionable recommendations for evidence-based decision-making
- Leverage clinical trial, real-world, and digital health data to improve quality and efficiency
- Evaluate new technologies and data sources to enhance clinical research and patient outcomes
- Ensure solutions are robust, reproducible, scalable, and compliant with regulatory and governance requirements
- Contribute to data science best practices and analytical frameworks
- Collaborate with Global Clinical Development and Digital teams to identify opportunities
- Present analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support data-driven strategic decisions and act as an AI/data science advisor in Clinical Development
- Foster innovation and collaboration with external partners to accelerate capability development
- Participate in scientific communications and external collaborations when appropriate
Requisiti fondamentali
- Strong knowledge of ML/AI, predictive analytics, and statistical modelling
- Proficiency in Python and/or R
- Experience with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch
- Experience deploying ML models in production
- Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and emerging AI frameworks
- Experience with healthcare, clinical, and real-world data
- Strong data visualization, storytelling, and communication skills
- Understanding of software development practices, version control, and reproducible workflows
- Demonstrated experience in Clinical Development, Clinical Research or Real World Evidence environments
- Experience translating complex challenges into impactful analytical solutions
- Master's or PhD in relevant field; experience in pharma/biotech/Life sciences
