Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Materials Management Technician who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable performing a wide range of tasks, from administration to strategy. The position is based in Milano, Italy .

Accountabilities
With reference to activities on highly complex projects/tenders, or on medium/low complexity international projects/tenders:





· Ensure the issuance of an estimate of total external costs for highly complex tenders.

· Plan and forecast external costs (materials, services, packages, subcontractors) during the project execution phase in collaboration with the cost control office.

· Provide all supply chain inputs necessary to define and issue the integrated project plan.

· Issue and distribute planning and logistics documents (Logistics Plan, MPS, Inventory Report, etc.) to project teams.

· Coordinate all planning and logistics activities between legal entities involved in the project to ensure delivery of project materials (including spare parts and repair of failed materials) in line with project requirements.
