Technical sales for industrial communication in the Italian market
Our client is an internationally active technology company specializing in industrial communication and automation. The company develops hardware and software solutions that reliably connect industrial devices and systems, helping to improve productivity, efficiency and sustainability in production environments. To further expand its presence in the Italian market, we are looking for a sales-driven professional who will develop existing accounts, identify new business opportunities and provide expert advice on technically demanding applications.
SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER (f/m/d) The role:
- Manage and strategically develop existing accounts in Northern and Central Italy
- Acquire new customers and identify additional business opportunities
- Own the sales territory, including targets, pipeline, forecasting and account planning
- Visit customers regularly, analyse requirements and provide technical advice
- Prepare quotations and commercial solutions and lead contract negotiations
- Collaborate with Application Engineering,
Product Management and Marketing; actively use CRM and market insights
Your profile:
- 2-5 years of recent sales experience in industrial automation or industrial communication
- Experience with device manufacturers, OEMs or machine builders is an advantage
- Technical degree, vocational qualification or comparable relevant industry experience
- Good understanding of customer applications, the automation market and decision-making processes
- Technical aptitude, strong communication skills and CRM experience; structured, proactive and results-oriented approach
- Professional Italian and fluent English, with willingness to travel regularly within Italy
