Purposewe are looking for a motivated intern to join the operational strategic excellence team to support the digital transformation of raw-material sourcing activities.responsibilitieslearn how raw-material quotation data flows across sourcing rounds, emails, spreadsheets and other sources.support the collection, organization, cleaning and standardisation of supplier quotation data.contribute to the definition of common data structures, validation rules and quality checks.use python and excel to improve tools for data matching, consolidation, transformation and analysis.participate in supervised automation or semi-automation activities related to matrix preparation and recurring reporting.assist in comparing supplier quotations and preparing analytical outputs for sourcing decisions.identify data gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates and process bottlenecks and discuss improvements.document data logic, process steps, assumptions and user guidance.work with category managers,
procurement colleagues and other stakeholders to understand requirements and test solutions.prepare and present findings and learning progress to technical and business audiences.qualificationsmaster's degree (or equivalent) in data science, data analytics, computer science, engineering, statistics, economics, business analytics or related field.0-2 years of experience; strong interest in procurement and digital transformation.good working knowledge of python (pandas, numpy) for data preparation, analysis and automation.knowledge of sql and relational data concepts.advanced microsoft excel skills (cleaning, formulas, look-ups, pivot tables, structured datasets).familiarity with data-visualisation or reporting tools is an advantage.good written and spoken english; additional languages are a plus.analytical, detail-oriented, proactive learning attitude and ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
