About the rolethe service delivery manager (sdm) is responsible for the deployment of hosting solutions sold by the sales teams to colocation customers. the role covers the entire build phase, from the installation of a single rack to the full equipment of a computer room with several hundred racks, and continues with capacity management in the run phase.build phase - delivery of customer solutionsplan, deliver and document customer projects after contract signing.coordinate technical resources, sales, pre-sales and external providers.define design, provide accurate delivery forecasts and ensure on-time execution.manage stakeholder expectations (vendors, customers, internal teams).organise interaction with ops team, carriers and outsourcing personnel.produce project documentation such as statement of work, gantt charts, quality plans, etc.report on project portfolio and team performance.run phase - operational managementconduct site tours and ensure rooms are maintained in optimal condition (cleanliness,
security, etc.).handle capacity planning for colocation clients.maintain and update customer room plans.write monthly reports for customers.supervise local staff involved in customer deliveries.experience requiredminimum 3 years of higher education in a technical field (networks, computers, electromechanical infrastructures).at least 3 years of experience in a similar service delivery or project management role.fluent in italian and english.technical skillsproject management experience in hosting or service integration.basic knowledge of high voltage, low voltage and air-conditioning infrastructures.proficiency in microsoft office, microsoft project and autocad.nice to have: microsoft visio, prince2 or similar certification, itil v3.understanding of networking, internet and cloud connectivity.
