Partner with the best /ph3The Buyer for Direct Material (Sourcing Professional) /h3ulliContribute to develop and execute long term strategies for the assigned commodity, ensuring best performance for procurement KPI /liliIntegrate commodity strategies into product leadership, sales, engineering, and manufacturing objectives. /liliDeal with New Product Development, driving supplier selection, development, and overall supplier management with support of engineering, sales, product leadership and other procurement team in accordance with the business strategy /liliPartner and be a point of reference for Product Leadership, Sales andEngineering for product strategy of the assigned commodity /liliDevelop negotiation strategies and leading negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives of supply chain for Single PO as well as Strategic Partnership /liliNegotiate and issue purchase orders with suppliers achieving lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs /liliDevelop Procurement initiatives for cost out program, deflation, cycle reduction, BVC Procurement and cash flow improvement (e.g. rebate, payment terms) /liliLeverage SOP data to match and optimize supplier capacity with business goals /liliFuel your passion /li /ulh3To be successful in this role you will:
