Our partner is looking for a Senior iOS Developer (Swift) based in Italy. /b /p pAs a Senior iOS Developer, you will play a key role in building and enhancing a native mobile application with a strong focus on accessibility and inclusive design. You will leverage your expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit to deliver reliable, high-performance features that meet the needs of a diverse user base. A central part of your work will involve implementing advanced iOS accessibility solutions, ensuring seamless VoiceOver support, and optimizing interfaces for users with different accessibility requirements. You will contribute to accessibility testing, identify usability barriers, and ensure alignment with recognized accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 and 2.2. Working in a fully remote, international environment, you will collaborate with technical teams to maintain high standards of code quality and application performance. This is an opportunity to combine advanced iOS engineering with meaningful work that makes digital experiences more inclusive and accessible to everyone. /p bAccountabilities /b ul libNative iOS development: /b Develop, maintain, and enhance native iOS applications using Swift, delivering new features and improving existing functionality. /li libUI development: /b Build and optimize user interfaces using SwiftUI and/or UIKit, ensuring consistency, responsiveness, and a high-quality user experience. /li libApplication performance and stability: /b Maintain robust application architecture, optimize performance, identify technical issues, and uphold high standards of code quality and reliability. /li libAccessibility implementation: /b Design, implement, and refine accessibility features across native iOS applications to support users with diverse needs and abilities. /li libVoiceOver integration: /b Ensure seamless compatibility with VoiceOver by optimizing screen-reader behavior, navigation, and the interpretation of interface elements. /li libiOS accessibility APIs: /b Apply iOS Accessibility APIs and SwiftUI Accessibility capabilities to improve accessibility throughout the application. /li libDynamic Type and scalable interfaces: /b Implement Dynamic Type and scalable font sizes to ensure content remains readable and usable across different text-size preferences. /li libAccessibility attributes:



/b Configure and optimize accessibility labels, traits, values, and actions so that assistive technologies can accurately interpret and interact with interface components. /li libAccessibility focus management: /b Implement and refine accessibility focus behavior to support intuitive navigation and predictable interactions for users relying on assistive technologies. /li libAccessibility testing and quality assurance: /b Conduct hands-on accessibility testing, particularly with VoiceOver, to identify, investigate, and resolve accessibility-related defects. /li libStandards compliance: /b Validate accessibility implementations against relevant guidelines, including WCAG 2.1 and WCAG 2.2, and contribute to continuous improvements in inclusive design. /li libCross-functional collaboration: /b Work with relevant technical stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, share expertise, and deliver accessible, maintainable, and user-centered mobile solutions. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liAt least 5 years of professional experience in native iOS application development. /li liStrong practical expertise in Swift and a solid understanding of native iOS development principles. /li liCommercial experience developing and maintaining applications using SwiftUI and/or UIKit. /li liExtensive hands-on experience implementing accessibility features in native iOS applications. /li liStrong practical knowledge of VoiceOver, including testing and optimizing screen-reader navigation and interactions. /li liExperience working with iOS Accessibility APIs and SwiftUI Accessibility features. /li liDemonstrated experience implementing Dynamic Type and scalable font sizes to accommodate different accessibility preferences. /li liPractical experience configuring and optimizing accessibility labels, traits, values, and actions. /li liExperience implementing and troubleshooting accessibility focus management in native iOS interfaces. /li liProven ability to conduct accessibility testing, identify usability barriers,
