Our partner is looking for a Java Developer Associate based in Italy. /p pJoin a remote team as a Java Developer Associate and contribute to the development and maintenance of desktop and web-based applications. In this role, you will use your Core Java expertise and knowledge of web technologies to build reliable, functional software solutions. You will work with Java SE, JSP, Servlets, and Java frameworks while applying object-oriented programming principles and established development practices. With flexible weekend scheduling and an initial tempo parziale commitment, you can contribute to meaningful development work while continuing to grow professionally. /p h3Accountabilities /h3 ul liDevelop, maintain, and enhance applications using Core Java and Java SE, applying object-oriented programming principles and modern Java features. /li liBuild and maintain web applications using JSP and Servlets, following the Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern where appropriate. /li liWork with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Struts to support application development and maintainability. /li liDevelop and support desktop and web-based applications for Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. /li liIntegrate RESTful web services and APIs to enable reliable communication between application components. /li liUse JavaScript, CSS, and related web technologies to enhance application functionality and user interfaces. /li liWork with integrated development environments such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or NetBeans to develop, debug, and maintain software.
/li liCollaborate with senior team members, follow technical instructions, and contribute to team objectives. /li liApply good development practices, maintain code quality, and support testing and troubleshooting activities. /li liFollow established schedules, project guidelines, and professional standards, demonstrating honesty, integrity, and accountability. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liAt least 2.5 years of relevant professional development experience. /li liStrong knowledge of Core Java and Java SE, including object-oriented programming principles. /li liFamiliarity with Java 8 or later features, including lambda expressions and streams. /li liHands-on experience with JSP and Servlets for web application development. /li liUnderstanding of the MVC design pattern. /li liExperience with at least one Java framework, such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Struts. /li liPractical experience developing and deploying desktop and web-based applications for Windows, macOS, and Linux. /li liKnowledge of RESTful web services and APIs. /li liBasic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript and a foundational understanding of CSS. /li liExperience with an IDE such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or NetBeans, with IntelliJ IDEA preferred. /li liFamiliarity with modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is an advantage. /li liKnowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, and ORM tools such as Hibernate, is preferred. /li liExperience with Git and platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket is an advantage. /li liFamiliarity with CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes,
