h3About This Role /h3pWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to guide our 3-5 year old classroom in Woodstock, VA. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of preschool-aged children. You will design engaging lesson plans, manage classroom dynamics, and build strong partnerships with families to ensure every child thrives. /ph3What You'll Do /h3ulliDesign and implement age-appropriate, play-based curriculum and daily lesson plans. /liliLead daily classroom activities, including circle time, arts and crafts, and outdoor play. /liliAssess and document child development milestones and behavioral progress. /liliMaintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment adhering to state licensing standards. /liliCommunicate regularly with parents regarding child progress and classroom updates. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliMinimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA)



credential or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. /liliAt least 2 years of experience working as a lead or assistant teacher in a licensed preschool setting. /liliProven understanding of early childhood development milestones and positive behavior management. /liliCurrent CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them upon hire. /liliAbility to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting. /li /ulh3Nice To Haves /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. /liliFamiliarity with Virginia state child care licensing regulations. /liliExperience utilizing digital parent communication applications like Brightwheel or Tadpoles. /liliBi-lingual skills, particularly in Spanish and English. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
