Overview
In this role you design, develop, and implement components, products, or technologies for power plant applications. You work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into detailed designs, create and test prototypes, and coordinate with suppliers and customers throughout project execution. You will document specifications, support cost estimates and technical reports, and ensure on-site installation and commissioning meet technical standards. Responsabilità
- Research materials and competitive products; organize and execute prototype testing and analysis
- Support supplier development and oversee drafting/testing teams
- Develop functional requirements and convert to detailed design documents; participate in buy-build analysis
- Contribute to proposals, cost estimates, and technical reports
- Create layout drawings for power plant installations and support plant design activities
- Design mechanical components, equipment, and systems for power plant applications
- Coordinate technical activities with customers, suppliers,
and internal stakeholders
- Review supplier drawings and technical documentation to support procurement
- Prepare technical specifications and engineering documentation for power plant projects
- Review customer specifications and contractual engineering documentation
- Assist in troubleshooting during manufacturing, commissioning, installation, and start-up
- Supervise on-site installation, construction, and commissioning to ensure technical compliance
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and technical documentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with cross-functional teams
- Experience with design, testing, and deployment of engineering solutions
- Knowledge of CAD/engineering practices (see skills)
- Experience supporting procurement and supplier interactions
