We are recruiting an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite professional with strong functional expertise in Supply Chain and Manufacturing for an industrial business in Italy, part of an international manufacturing group.
The company combines a hands-on local operating environment with the resources, standards and international exposure of a larger organization.
With a new manufacturing facility being established in Italy, the group is strengthening its internal Oracle EBS capabilities to support operations across Italy, and two other European countries
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working directly with business users, understanding operational processes and translating business needs into practical Oracle EBS solutions.
The Role
Working closely with local operational teams, international Corporate IT and external consultants, you will help ensure that Oracle EBS effectively supports day-to-day operations and the development of the group’s European manufacturing activities.
The role combines functional application support, business process improvement, troubleshooting and user training, supported by sufficient technical understanding to investigate issues and collaborate effectively with development specialists.
Your Responsibilities
- Support Oracle EBS processes across Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, Manufacturing and Shipping Execution.
- Act as a key point of contact for business users, investigating issues and helping resolve operational problems.
- Work with manufacturing and supply chain teams to understand requirements and improve system usage.
- Support the deployment and stabilization of Oracle EBS processes at the new Italian manufacturing facility.
- Contribute to application configuration, functional specifications, testing and validation.
- Use SQL and data analysis to investigate transactions,
identify inconsistencies and support troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with Corporate IT, external consultants and technical specialists when development or more complex intervention is required.
- Prepare practical documentation and deliver end-user training.
- Support knowledge transfer from external consultants and progressively strengthen internal application ownership.
- Contribute to upgrades and continuous improvement within the group’s Oracle EBS environment.
Your Professional Background
We are looking for professionals who demonstrate:
- Proven hands-on experience supporting or implementing Oracle E-Business Suite, preferably within an R12 environment.
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Inventory, together with relevant experience across other Supply Chain or Manufacturing modules.
- A sound understanding of operational flows connecting procurement, inventory, production, order management and shipping.
- Experience working directly with business users to investigate issues, clarify requirements and implement practical solutions.
- The ability to use SQL for investigation, data validation and troubleshooting.
- Experience in functional testing, documentation and user training.
- The autonomy and adaptability required to work effectively within a lean industrial organization.
- Professional proficiency in English, enabling effective communication with international colleagues and management.
Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM)
experience would be a strong advantage. Candidates with relevant Oracle discrete manufacturing experience and the ability to develop their OPM knowledge will also be considered.
Italian language skills would be advantageous, but are not a prerequisite.
Experience gained within an Oracle consulting firm or systems integrator would be valuable, particularly when combined with direct exposure to industrial operations.

Location and Working Arrangements
The role is closely connected to the manufacturing operations in Crema, Italy, with responsibilities extending to other European entities.
Candidates based elsewhere in Europe may also be considered, provided they can ensure regular travel and sufficient on-site presence in Italy, particularly during the initial implementation and stabilization phase.
