pIn this role you manage certification projects within the Wiring Devices segment to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes. You work in an international team to support the Electrical Distribution Certification process and liaise with clients on technical issues and UL requirements. You may travel to client sites to witness tests and gather data. You drive the development of test programs and documentation to meet conformity standards and project goals. /pulliManage certification projects for wiring devices (connectors, terminal blocks, cable trays, cable glands, plugs and sockets) /liliDefine project scope, cost, schedule, sample requirements, and technical documentation from client input and product data /liliPrepare datasheets and instructions; schedule and review work of Laboratory Technicians; establish completion dates /liliCommunicate with clients on technical issues and UL procedures and requirements /liliTravel to client sites to conduct or witness tests as needed /liliProvide technical assistance to clients on product evaluations, inspections, plans review and follow-up services /liliEstablish test programs by reviewing files, manufacturer information, samples,



and UL requirements /liliDevelop test requirements for innovative products beyond existing standards /liliIdentify areas of non-compliance with applicable standards and address them /liliPlan, conduct, and supervise major code and regulatory projects of significant scope /liliUniversity Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics; plus four years of related work experience /liliDetailed knowledge of technical vocabulary in the discipline /liliWorking knowledge of conformity standards relevant to the area of expertise /liliDemonstrated ability to apply project-management concepts in the field /lilicommunication with clients /liliability to work in an international team /liliproblem-solving and independent judgment /liliUL procedures and requirements /lilidevelopment of test programs /lilipreparation of datasheets and technical documentation /li /ulpProject Engineer (m/f/i) - Wiring Devices • milano, lombardia, it /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
