/ph3Group/Division /h3pThe KLA Services team consists of Service Sales, Marketing, Spares Supply Chain Management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, Digital Solutions and Analytics, and Technical Product Support.
Our services organization maximizes the value of our customers' KLA assets – with highly trained service and product support engineers providing installation services and 24/7 technical support and parts delivery through our extensive supply chain network.
/ph3What You'll Do /h3pIn this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.
We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to support our customers with current and future tools installed at the customer site.
Knowledge of mask inspection tools is highly desirable, and experienced internal candidates are preferred.
We will consider new graduates provided they demonstrate a strong hands?on competence and a desire to succeed.
/ph3YOUR MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES /h3ulliSuccessful applicants will be formally trained at one of our award?winning training centers.
/liliDomestic and international travel is required on a regular basis.
/liliResponsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment at customer sites.
/liliBe the face of our company, ensuring customer satisfaction with our service and maintaining the operational quality of system equipment.
/liliCoordinates actions with customers to minimize down time.
/liliProvides assistance to Installation Engineers in resolving problems.




/li /ulh3WHAT YOU WILL BRING /h3ulliCertified engineer or degree from advanced technical school or ~5 years industry working experience.
/liliTechnical military occupational specialties and training may be considered.
/liliAbility to understand and tackle problems in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro?mechanical and/or electro?optical systems to address on?site customer problems.
/liliExperience working on electronic systems within semiconductor, medical devices, defense, aerospace, or aviation industry is a plus.
/liliOutstanding interpersonal communication, analytical and problem?solving skills.
/liliProven track record of engaging empathetically with customers, ensuring a positive experience, while fostering a collaborative environment to address their needs and concerns.
/liliDriven to be hands?on and passionate about learning new things.
/liliProactive communication that facilitates seamless collaboration and address customer requirements effectively.
/liliFluency in English is mandatory.
/liliProficiency in Italian is highly desirable.
/liliFull driver's license.
/liliOccasional domestic and international travel, including to the United States, may be required as part of this role.
