pRomazzino a Belmond Hotel in stunning Costa Smeralda for the season **** is looking for a talented Chef de Rang to join our team.
/ppThe ideal candidate is willing to provide authentic experiences in a world-renowned destination to our guests, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.
/ppReporting to the Restaurant Manager, he/she will have experience working in fine dining and/or luxury restaurants environments, and will display great passion for food, beverages and wines, along with luxury service.
/ppThe position is based in Porto Cervo, Costa Smeralda, Sardinia and the contract is tempo pieno.
/ppYou must possess the legal right to work in Italy/EU.
/ph3Key responsibilities: /h3ulliWarmly greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, and offering recommendations on food and beverages.
/liliEngage with guests and deliver memorable and enchanting restaurant experiences.
/liliServing food and drinks with precision, elegance, and adherence to established service standards.
/liliMaintaining a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
/liliFulfil any requested operation including assisting with restaurant preparation, table setups and service on the floor, mise-en-place and cleaning.
/liliRespect the Belmond standards, policies and procedures, while observing all safety and hygiene directions so that they are met at all times.
/liliEstablish and maintain a polite and caring relationship with all guests while handling their requests and enquiries.
/liliWork closely with the Restaurant team to ensure the best service is always delivered.
/li /ulp· Proven experience as a Chef de Rang or similar role in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel setting.
/pp· Exceptional knowledge of food and beverage service,
including fine dining etiquette and standards.
/pp· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a refined and engaging demeanor.
/pp· Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
/pp· Excellent memory and attention to detail.
/pp· A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
/pp· Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Knowledge of additional languages is a significant advantage.
/pp· Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards.
/pp· Knowledge of wine and spirits is highly desirable.
