Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an analytical development scientist to support mRNA product development in Monza, Italy. The role involves HPLC-based characterization, method development, and transfer to QC/GMP laboratories within a collaborative scientific team.
Responsibilities
Perform laboratory analyses for mRNA product development and characterization
Generate reliable HPLC data and troubleshoot analytical challenges
Support analytical method transfer to quality control and GMP laboratories
Communicate results to project teams and prepare accurate technical documentation
Collaborate across analytical development, process development, and manufacturing teams
Requirements
PhD in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience
Practical HPLC experience with macromolecules and independent instrument operation
Proficiency in Italian and English with strong written and verbal communication
Hands-on experience in analytical method development or QC environment
Strong attention to detail and documented laboratory practices
Experience with capillary gel electrophoresis or LC-MS advantageous
