AbbVie is hiring engineering interns for a 6-month program across multiple departments including process, project, automation, digital, IT, and maintenance engineering. Interns will support engineering teams in design, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing and digital systems while gaining hands-on technical experience.
Responsibilities
Support design, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing or digital processes
Assist in process analysis, simulations, and data collection to identify improvement opportunities
Collaborate with engineering teams on project planning, feasibility studies, and technical documentation
Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of systems and equipment
Contribute to maintenance planning, reliability analysis, and IT infrastructure support
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Automation, Electrical, or Computer Science engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Technical proficiency relevant to assigned engineering discipline
Communication and documentation skills
