Overview

In this role you join the HQ Motorsport R&D; Team to support tyre development for global car manufacturers in the Motorsport segment. You will build and assess finite element models to predict tyre behavior under racing conditions, applying tyre mechanics principles to design. You’ll analyse test results and work with cross-functional teams to share insights and drive performance. This position offers international exposure, ongoing development, and a path to influence high-performance motorsport projects.

Responsabilità





- Develop finite element models using Abaqus to simulate static and dynamic tyre properties in a Motorsport environment
- Apply tyre mechanics principles for tyre design
- Analyse indoor and outdoor test results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and share information

Requisiti fondamentali

- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 1–3 years of professional experience in Product Development and/or FEA/FEM
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Strong knowledge of FEM tools (Abaqus, Ansys, Patran, Nastran or Marc)
- Proficiency in Matlab and Python
- Knowledge of C++ is a plus
