Job description
- PLM Windchill resource 14-16 years of experience in PLM, including extensive expertise in PTC Windchill business processes, solution design, implement
- 14-16 years of IT/Engineering Systems experience with 8+ years of hands‑on expertise in PTC Windchill PLM implementations and support.
- Lead business requirement gathering workshops with Engineering, R&D;, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
- Analyze current-state processes and design future-state PLM business processes aligned with industry best practices.
- Act as Functional SME for Windchill modules including PDMLink, Change Management, Document Management, BOM Management, Workflow, and Lifecycle Management.
- Prepare functional specifications, process flows, use cases, business requirements documents (BRD), and solution design documents.
- Drive end-to-end Windchill implementation, upgrade, rollout, and enhancement projects.
- Work closely with technical teams to define configurations, customizations, integrations, and system requirements.
- Support data migration activities including data assessment, mapping, cleansing, validation, and business sign-off.
- Define and execute SIT, UAT, training, deployment, and go‑live readiness activities.
- Collaborate with ERP, CAD, ALM, MES, and other enterprise system teams for integration requirements.
- Provide leadership in issue resolution, risk management, stakeholder communication, and project governance.
- Ensure compliance with product development, engineering change, document control, and configuration management processes.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide functional guidance to project teams.
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, or high-tech industries preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client‑facing consulting skills with experience working in global delivery environments.
