Expert Pricing Actuary/Data Analyst

Overview

In this role, you will support the Non Motor Actuarial Office across Pricing analysis, data ingestion, and model development. You’ll shape data-driven solutions to support strategic business decisions and risk assessment. You will build and deploy ML models, develop dashboards, and implement tariff and renewal logic in Radar Live, collaborating with pricing actuaries and product teams. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role at a leading insurer with scope to impact pricing and risk management.

Responsabilità

- Support data ingestion, transformation, exploration and cleaning pipelines
- Structure data science solutions to meet business objectives
- Build prototypes and deploy ML models within company systems
- Model customer behavior using market and competitor data
- Develop and enhance dashboards and BI tools for risk analysis and portfolio management
- Implement Radar Base Projects for impact analysis/scenario testing
- Implement tariff,



discounts, UW rules, and renewal processes in Radar Live per technical specs
- Explore and develop new technical solutions through R&D;

Requisiti fondamentali

- PhD or Master’s degree in a quantitative field
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong hands-on programming skills (Python, SAS, or R)
- Experience with Pandas or SQL for data manipulation
- Exposure to ML methods like gradient boosting and linear models
- Ability to explore, analyze and model data to support strategic decisions
- Knowledge of Tower Watson Suite: Emblem, Radar (preferred)
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Ability to work independently and engage with stakeholders
