As Engagement Manager in Oliver Wyman's Insurance and Asset Management practice, you drive client engagements from problem definition to implementation planning. Responsabilità Lead day-to-day client engagements from problem definition through analysis, recommendations, and implementation planning
Structure complex business problems, develop hypotheses, and oversee quantitative and qualitative analyses
Translate findings into clear, practical recommendations addressing strategic and operational priorities
Apply insurance-sector knowledge to client challenges across strategy, finance, risk, and operations
Ensure deliverables are high-quality, consistent, and technically sound
Build and maintain trusted client relationships through clear communication and stakeholder management
Coach and develop junior colleagues,
providing constructive feedback
Foster an inclusive, collaborative, high-performing team environment
Collaborate with colleagues and specialists across Oliver Wyman to bring relevant expertise to client challenges
Continue developing your own expertise and leadership through challenging engagements and learning
Travel to client sites in Italy and internationally as required
Requisiti fondamentali 6–8 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a leading strategy consulting firm
In-depth knowledge of the insurance sector and related strategic, financial, risk, or operational challenges
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to structure complex questions and derive actionable recommendations
Experience leading project teams and delivering high-quality outcomes in demanding client environments
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex ideas clearly to stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
Fluency in English and Italian
Master's degree from a leading academic institution
Willingness to travel as needed
