OverviewIn this role you will own the software solution architecture for SAP, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and delivering high-quality IS services. You will design and build SAP solutions, maintain integrity and support the deployment of cross-functional processes. You’ll promote new technologies and drive innovative design alongside a global team. This position supports ABB’s SAP S/4HANA transformation and broader IT goals, offering a hands-on, impact-driven opportunity.

Responsabilità

Design and build SAP custom solutionsMaintain integrity and quality of SAP solutions and IS servicesCreate and maintain technical/architectural documentationPerform internal testing and support user testingPromote new technologies and innovative solution design approachesSupport installation, management, maintenance,



and optimization of IS solutionsAssist in incident and problem resolution during technical verificationUnderstand business processes at a high level and provide expert adviceGuide and monitor task completion; share expertise without direct line responsibilityCoordinate with SAP consultants and application SMEs on integration solutions

Requisiti fondamentali

Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar≥3 years experience as SAP Solution Architect and ABAP developerStrong SAP ABAP expertise including OO; familiarity with RAP, CAP is a plusExperience in SAP integrations (IDOCs, BAPI, APIs, web services) and basic SAP modules (SD, MM, WM, PP)Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA; migration projects; familiarity with SAP BTP and clean core principles (nice to have)Strong communication and collaboration; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersProactive, analytical mindset; curiosity for new technologies; problem-solving; adaptable under pressureItalian and English proficiency (written and spoken)Willingness to travel occasionally within Italy and EuropeStrong communicationCollaborationAnalytical mindsetSAP ABAP (OO)RAPCAP
