Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for creating, growing and managing an account base. Accountable to directly identify and initiate development efforts. Develop and execute a field sales business plan that will achieve the corporate revenue goals. Accountable to directly identify and initiate business development opportunities

This is a field-based remote role. We are looking for individuals to be located in central Italy (from Bolognia to Rome area).
Responsibilities
Develops new business across all of our core competencies
Identify, initiate and engage with clients that provide sustained and profitable revenue streams multiple services
Develop and execute a business plan that will achieve sales quota and budget as defined by the company
Support and consulting of existing customers as well as further development of a professional cooperation
Conducting sales and negotiation meetings
Preparation of offers and calculations
Processing of customer correspondence
Preparation and assembly of accompanying documents (offers, concepts, presentations, etc.)
Planning; organization and execution of customer visits
Recording and ensuring data maintenance in the CRM as well as for cross-departmental topics in the CRM
Implementation of regular review meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Completed further training as a forwarding specialist
5+ year's relevant business to business sales experience in Logisitcs, Freight Forwarding or Supply Chain Industry preferred
Fluent level Italian and very good English language skills

According to the CCNL Logistica Trasporto Merci e Spedizione the minimum gross base salary for this role is EUR2.181,55 per month based on level 2. The final offer will depend on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skills.
