Overview
As Energy Originator, you will help grow Metlen’s solar and BESS revenue portfolio by originating and negotiating long-term PPAs. You will stay ahead of PPA market developments across Europe, especially Italy and Spain, and promote new products to accelerate the pipeline. You’ll support tenders, client dialogues, and scenario analyses to inform decision-making. You will also oversee customer origination activities in PV and BESS clusters, aligning with the group’s strategic objectives. This role offers the chance to shape a growing renewables portfolio within a global FTSE 100 energy company.

Responsabilità
- Maintain knowledge of the PPA market across active markets, including providers, competitors, market prices and product structures
- Promote and promote new products with a focus on Italy and Spain
- Assist in preparing materials for corporate PPA tenders and client dialogues
- Support assessment of scenario analyses for current and new project pipelines in Europe
- Oversee and develop Customer Care Origination for photovoltaic and BESS clusters in line with strategic objectives
- Promote, negotiate and conclude long-term PPA contracts and other structured products
Requisiti fondamentali
- 4+ years of experience in energy trading, renewables energy market or PPA origination in Italian and/or other European markets
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or equivalent
- Strategic, commercial and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and work with a hands-on approach
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables and macros) and Power Paint
- Italian and English knowledge is required; Spanish is a plus
