Overview As a Technical Service Specialist, you perform planned maintenance, hardware and software upgrades, and first-line service for Abbott systems. You will support installations and deinstallations and collaborate with lab staff to ensure reliable diagnostics. Your work drives customer satisfaction and district profitability while supporting Abbott’s mission to improve patient care.

This role offers significant field exposure, high impact on service KPIs, and the chance to shape service excellence in a global leader.

Responsabilità

- Provides first line service for Abbott Ambassadors (short interventions under 4 hours)
- Schedules and executes planned maintenance activities
- Assists with instrument installations and deinstallations
- Conducts hardware and software upgrades (TSBs)
- Addresses customer needs and issues to improve satisfaction and NPS




- Maintains/update service records and performance indicators
- Contributes to district profitability through efficient service delivery
- Communicates effectively with lab staff and cross-functional teams

Requisiti fondamentali

- 2/3 years of experience in a similar role
- Successful engagement with customers, specifically lab staff
- Technical expert for product line responsibility
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to identify and drive issue resolution
- Experience with analytical tools and software
