Our mission is to protect people, devices, and data everywhere. /p pWe are seeking a bChannel Systems Engineer /b to support our channel business across the bNorth-East, Emilia-Romagna, and Tuscany /b territories. /p pThe selected candidate will work closely with our bEnterprise Channel Account Managers (CAMs) and partners across the region /b, helping to drive business growth, strengthen technical engagement, and enable partners to successfully position and deliver Fortinet solutions. /p pThe role will focus on building partner technical capability, supporting strategic channel initiatives, and providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liSupport Enterprise Channel Account Managers in driving technical strategy and partner engagement across priority partners. /li liDeliver technical enablement, workshops, and product updates to strengthen partner capability and readiness. /li liParticipate in joint partner meetings to explain Fortinet solutions, integrations, and technical value. /li liAssist partners in qualifying opportunities and aligning them with appropriate Fortinet architectures. /li liProvide technical support during channel events, webinars, roadshows, and strategic partner programmes. /li liDeliver product demonstrations, whiteboarding sessions, and light proof-of-concept support to help partners progress opportunities. /li liMaintain working knowledge of Fortinet's portfolio, industry trends, and emerging security technologies such as SASE, SD-WAN, cloud security, and SOC solutions. /li liCollaborate with internal teams, distributors, and partners to ensure successful technical outcomes.
/li liSupport documentation and updates in Salesforce. /li liContribute to knowledge sharing by mentoring partners and colleagues on Fortinet technologies. /li liSupport the development of technical relationships with partners across the assigned territories. /li /ul h3What We Are Looking For /h3 ul liExperience in pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or a partner-facing technical role. /li liUnderstanding of networking and cybersecurity fundamentals, including Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN/WAN, and Network Security. /li liFamiliarity with modern security architectures such as SASE, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, SOC tools, and cloud security. /li liWorking knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, and common security protocols. /li liExperience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is desirable. /li liAbility to build trusted relationships with partners, distributors, Enterprise CAMs, and internal teams. /li liIndustry certifications, for example NSE, CISSP, or CCNP, are a plus. /li /ul h3Why Join Us /h3 pAt Fortinet, we embrace diversity and inclusivity. In line with EU pay transparency requirements, remuneration is determined based on objective factors, including the relevant National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL), the specific job profile, and seniority level. The target gross annual salary (RAL
- Retribuzione Annua Lorda) for this position is expected to range between €60,000 and €80,000. The exact salary offer will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and specific geographic location/work arrangements.
