Group/Division
The KLA Services team consists of Service Sales, Marketing, Spares Supply Chain Management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, Digital Solutions and Analytics, and Technical Product Support. Our services organization maximizes the value of our customers' KLA assets – with highly trained service and product support engineers providing installation services and 24/7 technical support and parts delivery through our extensive supply chain network.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise. We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to support our customers with current and future tools installed at the customer site. Knowledge of mask inspection tools is highly desirable, and experienced internal candidates are preferred. We will consider new graduates provided they demonstrate a strong hands‑on competence and a desire to succeed.
YOUR MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Successful applicants will be formally trained at one of our award‑winning training centers.
- Domestic and international travel is required on a regular basis.
- Responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment at customer sites.
- Be the face of our company,
ensuring customer satisfaction with our service and maintaining the operational quality of system equipment.
- Coordinates actions with customers to minimize down time.
- Provides assistance to Installation Engineers in resolving problems.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Certified engineer or degree from advanced technical school or ~5 years industry working experience.
- Technical military occupational specialties and training may be considered.
- Ability to understand and tackle problems in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro‑mechanical and/or electro‑optical systems to address on‑site customer problems.
- Experience working on electronic systems within semiconductor, medical devices, defense, aerospace, or aviation industry is a plus.
- Outstanding interpersonal communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven track record of engaging empathetically with customers, ensuring a positive experience, while fostering a collaborative environment to address their needs and concerns.
- Driven to be hands‑on and passionate about learning new things.
- Proactive communication that facilitates seamless collaboration and address customer requirements effectively.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Italian is highly desirable.
- Full driver’s license.
- Occasional domestic and international travel, including to the United States, may be required as part of this role.

Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years.
Base Pay Range: EUR 42.200,00 - EUR 61.867,00 Annually
