Overview In this role you lead Kuwait Operations, overseeing facilities, personnel and service delivery to meet cost, quality and service targets. You will drive performance improvements, budget adherence and customer satisfaction while ensuring security and compliance. You collaborate with regional teams to implement country projects and expand the road-haul network.
The role combines operations leadership, project coordination and a strong focus on security and ISO/TAPA standards. This is an opportunity to shape a high-impact, international operations function.
Responsabilità Directly manage country operations cost and service performance against standards Maintain gateway status and security compliance (TAPA) Oversee facilities maintenance and optimal site locations Ensure ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 compliance and drive continuous improvement Plan new facility locations and customer touchpoints Control costs and achieve cost targets with Business Units Ensure pickup, delivery and shipment processing meet performance standards Implement regional and country projects and realize business benefits Lead and train the Operations team to meet targets and manage performance Coordinate with Regional Hub, Transportation,
Sales and third-party contractors to grow road haulage network Monitor transit times and take action to meet targets Manage fleet and ensure vehicle availability at optimal cost Oversee construction/renovation of facilities to meet forecasted volumes Develop country quality strategy aligned with ISO standards Measure service performance using Service Quality Index Develop and manage nationwide security program Requisiti fondamentali ~ Degree level education preferred ~6-8 years in Operations with 5+ years leading large teams ~ Project management experience preferred ~ Strong understanding of Service Theory, Operations Management, THP/TSP/GSOP, ISO processes and TAPA ~ Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills ~ Proficient PC skills, especially MS Office ~ Passion for customer delight and high-performance leadership ~ Ability to build and lead teams and drive high-performance culture ~ Resilience, stress tolerance and problem-solving capabilities ~ Good planning and organizing skills ~ leadership ~ communication ~ stakeholder management ~ Service Theory ~ Operations Management ~ THP/TSP/GSOP
