Overview

As a Senior Firmware Designer, you will design, develop, and validate embedded control systems for automation products. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, reliable firmware across the product lifecycle. You’ll translate architectures and specs into robust microcontroller-based solutions while supporting production testing and continuous improvement. Responsabilità

- Develop embedded firmware applications following system architectures and technical specs
- Create and maintain technical documentation per standards and processes
- Collaborate with manufacturing and EMS partners to optimize testing and product quality
- Lead validation and verification activities to ensure performance and compliance




- Support continuous improvement through troubleshooting and cross-team collaboration

Requisiti fondamentali

- Strong Embedded C development experience
- Solid knowledge of 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers, preferably ARM-based (NXP, ST, Infineon)
- Knowledge of embedded communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, LIN) with wireless exposure (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Sub-GHz) advantageous
- Experience in embedded systems for automation/products; familiarity with C++, C#, VB, or Java for testing
- Knowledge of embedded hardware, schematic interpretation, PCB documentation, and measurement instruments; motor control knowledge (DC/BLDC) preferred
- Fluency in Italian and English; strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Knowledge of automation safety standards or EN directives advantageous
