Overview As a Manufacturing Engineer at Littelfuse, you will drive continuous improvement across production processes, resolving issues and supporting the team to boost efficiency, yield, and product quality. Responsabilità
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and production teams to resolve process-related issues and minimize downtime
- Own line performance in safety, quality, and efficiency metrics
- Analyze production deviations and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Apply lean tools to eliminate waste and improve flow
- Prepare technical reports, update work instructions, and maintain documentation
- Identify and support automation projects for cost reduction and capacity expansion
- Collaborate with product development on cost estimation and new manufacturing processes
- Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance processes through automation and AI-driven improvements
Requisiti fondamentali
- 3+ years in manufacturing engineering or related role with automatic assembly processes (e.g., pick & place, automatic feeders, pallet lines, 6-axis/SCARA robots)
- Experience in manufacturing/industrial environment
- Understanding of PLC systems is a plus
- Familiar with lean tools and CI methodologies
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills in a fast-paced, multicultural setting
- Open-minded and proactive in proposing ideas and improvements
- Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
